This trip was years in the making. The legendary childhood town of my father catching yabbies in a creek and riding his bike to school was finally presented to me 40 years after my father left the little ex-mining town. 

It was scenic, quiet and the stars were breathtaking. The locals were so lovely and the drive was worth the long long wait. Hope you had a good birthday Dad!
