I think scotland ended up being my favourite place to travel to. There's something about the British way of life that just makes me feel happy inside. Being surrounded by rolling hills and brick and mortar architecture gave me a sense of peace and wonder that I would love to experience again. Bring me to a UK christmas market anyday! And it wouldn't hurt to replace the gloves that I left in the public toilet 2 hours after I bought them...
