After many failed attempts, my friend Jake and I finally got our shit together and visited the Cleland Wildlife Park. The best decision we ever made was choosing to visit at midday on a Monday because it was pretty empty. It was too hot for many of the critters to make an appearance, but we did get a glimpse at quite a few of them loitering around. We also spent a good 10 minutes feeding an entire flock of ducks and other birds that came out of nowhere just for food. I, ever the tourist, took a heap of photos.

After I dropped him off I decided that I wasn't ready to go home quite just yet, so I ventured down south to Hallett Cove for a little bit of a walk. There were a ton of dragonflies and a couple of people enjoying the peaceful waves of the rocky beach.

I only want to note that I got black dungarees and am living my Mamma Mia dreams. Thank you.

Thursday was down to Aldinga to visit some family and stroll the beach. It was such a nice day - cloudless skies and a nice cool sea breeze made it the perfect solo tripping day.

I had no idea what was in the area so I decided to hell with it, I'll just see where the road takes me. I found myself at Myponga Reservoir which had such different landscaping compared to the rest of the South Australian Hills, and then along to the Nan Hai Pu Tuo Temple (which was closed). I had no idea there was such a prominent temple there, which makes me feel a little embarrassed to be that ill informed.

I then did a very short stop in Happy Valley - before I remembered that I actually had an appointment to get to and was then running late...

I ended the day printing some photos from different events of that year to add to my expansive collection of printed memorabilia.
